SIELE is a service of evaluation and certification of the degree of Spanish language proficiency through technological means aimed at students and professionals.
The SIELE exam is modular, which means that candidates can take the exam as a whole or by tests. There are a total of five test modalities: Global and by modalities:
- Reading comprehension
- Listening comprehension
- Written expression and interaction
- Oral expression and interaction
SIELE is a multilevel exam in which the tasks of each test have different degrees of difficulty, which allows the candidate to be placed in the corresponding proficiency level, from level A1 to level C2 of the CEFR, based on a score ranging from 0 to 1000 points, in the case of the Global test and from 0 to 500 in each of the specific tests.

Why obtain the SIELE certificate?
It allows students who need it (for study or employment) to accredit their level more quickly than the DELE. The SIELE is valid for 2 years.
